This policy describes how Catalyft ("we", "us") handles personal information when you use our website, the Catalyft AI Academy, the OpenClaw scanner, and any consulting engagement we deliver.

Information we collect

• Account information, name, email, and password hash when you create an account.
• Billing, only when applicable, handled by Stripe; we never store full payment card details.
• Learning activity, course progress, quiz scores, and completion records, used to power the Academy experience.
• Communications, messages you send through our contact form or in-app chat.
• Technical data, IP address, browser type, and basic usage analytics required to operate the service securely.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small first-party cookie and a self-hosted analytics tool to understand how visitors move through the Catalyft website so we can improve it. The data is stored in our own database, not shared with third-party advertising networks, and never sold. The first time you visit, a banner at the bottom of the page asks you to Accept or Decline this analytics tracking.

If you Decline, the analytics snippet does not load and we do not record page views, clicks, or session activity from your browser. The site remains fully usable: account login, the AI Academy, the OpenClaw scanner, billing, and support all work exactly the same.

If you Accept, we record basic usage events (pages viewed, referring source, broad device type) tied to a random visitor identifier. We never load this snippet inside the admin area or the email unsubscribe page.

Changing your cookie preferences

Your choice is remembered in your browser for 12 months, after which the banner reappears so you can renew or change it. To change your preference sooner, click the Cookie preferences link in the site footer at any time. The banner will reopen and your new selection takes effect immediately, no page reload required.

How we use it

• To deliver and personalize the products and services you've requested.

Sharing

We retain account data for as long as your account is active and for a limited period after closure as required by law. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is restricted to authorized personnel with audited credentials.
